Induction cooktops draw a lot of power, especially with several zones on full. Most need their own dedicated circuit with the right cable size and circuit protection, and older Ballarat switchboards often don't have the spare capacity.
We check your board, run the circuit from the switchboard to the kitchen and connect the cooktop to the manufacturer's requirements. If you're moving off gas, it's a good time to plan heat pump hot water and reverse-cycle heating too.
