Ballarat is spread out, and many of our customers commute to Melbourne or drive between regional towns. Charging from a standard power point can take a day or more to fill a battery. A proper wall charger on a dedicated circuit typically adds around 40 km of range per hour on single-phase power, and much more on three-phase.
Before we install anything we check your switchboard, your supply and the distance from the board to where you park. That tells us whether your existing board has the capacity, or whether an upgrade is needed first.
We can install a charger you have already bought, or supply and install one for you. Either way, the job includes a dedicated circuit, safety switch protection, testing and a Certificate of Electrical Safety.

Installation of your own charger starts from $880 + GST, and supply and install starts from $1,490 + GST. The price depends on the distance from your switchboard to the charger, how the cable is run (through the roof, under the floor or in conduit outside), whether your switchboard needs an upgrade, and whether you have single-phase or three-phase power.
